More relevant, I also found this in a pdf file on the r-390A site:

"I went through the RF deck and individually swapped out tubes with at least
6 of

the same type and left the best S/n tubes in place... ( you guys should try

some of the CV-133 and 6135 tubes for the mixers..!!!) P.S. the note about
