You can get on and off this list with ease, with a web browser.
The link is at the bottom of every message posted to the list.

To change your subscription (set options like digest and 
delivery modes, get a reminder of your password, or 
unsubscribe from R-390), enter your subscription email 
address and choose Edit Options.  

Edit Options is near the bottom of the page.

Frank is now unsubscribed.  Thanks for everyone's help.  
I've been away from email for a week.
