[R-390] AGC problems

Ivan,   I guess my free advice is worth what you paid for it.  I suppose I should remove
the diodes and find out what the real problem is,  hi.  Anyway,  in retrospect you didn't
really say your problem was related to the reception of ssb signals so my advice may not
be relevant.  I could never get good reception with ssb strong signals without cranking
back on the rf gain;  my set agc always worked worked ok on am signals.  I surmise from
the responses that your problem also occurs on am signals though I didn't hear that from
you,  Dan.
