But the 51S1 was always an expensive radio, it went for about twice the price
of a 75S* and the S line was more expensive than any other amateur offering
of the time.  So...  The 51S has kept its position, it was very pricey new
and its very pricey old.  That being said, price is obviously not related to
performance - if that was all it took then a 75A3 would not cost more than a
Drake R4 or (of course) an R-390.

I like the 51S1 but I am a cheapskate and won't pay what they ask for them.
