Heck, they programmed M-5 with human brain engrams
back in the late sixties or early seventies, I forget. And
voice interface was commonly used system wide on most
Hammarlund Federation Starships by that time. Last years'
Jupiter mission failed mostly due to the main shipboard
computer's ability to read lips and turning on it's human
masters. This Windows GUI stuff was obsolete at birth.
