[R-390] kilocycle/megacycle movement

The MHZ knob should have a good solid click as it falls into each
detent.  I have seen the detent plate get worn out from lack of lub
and the knob just doesn't have a good lock at each position.
But the problem probably is in the differential gear assembly.  The gears
could  just be sticking and need a cleaning and lube.  No need to 
disassemble the differential.  Just soak the whole thing in gas for an
hour or two to clean off the crud. Relube with Mobil 1 synthetic oil.
 If this is the problem, you might as well rebuild the whole geartrain 
while you are at it because there are other gears that are crudded also.
