If anyone wants to replace the tubes more often they need only halve the
value of the cathode resistors. Then it might 'age' them faster... How about
those old horizontal sweep tube 'linear' amps from the late 60's and early
70's? Drive 'em hard, replace tubes daily.

But think of the cheap Watts/dollar...
