Nolan told of buying a "barren ewe", bringing it back to where he lived, 
tieing the thing up to the raised rear door of his station waggon, slitting 
its throat and then dressing it out into a plastic bucket.  He then 
explained that he got no more sh*t from the neighbors as he had been 
getting over something or other.

This story was quite a long time ago now.
