That will be great TNX! My records and parts are also interred underneath a
lot of stuff. I have organized my manuals, sort of, but still have to work
at it. My son will be around during Xmas to help me haul that rig off the
shelf. It will work out.

Drill a hole in the rear cap to take one lead of the new bulb and the other
lead comes up and tack solders to the insulated ring of the screw-cap
housing. You will see what I mean. The bulb can't protrude out too far or
it will shatter when you try to install it (don't ask how I know...) Hot
glue might help to set things in place.
