[R-1051] Kilocycle knob stops

Years ago there was a post describing how you can remove the one-turn stops on the frequency knobs
by simply removing a nut, discarding the tang, and replacing the nut.
On my R-1051 plain, this cannot be done so simply.
First, it cannot be done at all to the KC knobs, only the 1MC knob.
The reason is that the RF and Synthesizer modules have ten-position switches while the frequency scales
on the front panel have twelve positions - two dead spots between 9 and 0. As soon as you go around one
turn, you're off two clicks. This is not an issue on the 1MC knob because the code generator has twelve
positions, same as the scale.
On my radio, the stop tangs are riveted to the front panel. Rather than drill out my 1MC tang, I found that I
could back the knob off the shaft enough so its roll pin cleared the tang while still getting a bite with the setscrews.
That's how I'm running now, and it's convenient not having to crank back so much. Too bad about the KC knobs!
