[R-1051] 100 CPS Synthesizer in R-1051b

Many thanks to those that replied to help with the module. The trouble was with the amplifying transistor Q7 2n1225. I was able to replace it with a silicon PNP (same TO5 package) and now all is good. I don't know why the these receivers were nearly 100 percent germanium. Does the lower gate voltage provide better resistance to EMP?
