[R-1051] tube puller

Fortunately I have the pullers for the 390A and one of them works well
with the 1051. These were made up as exact replicas by a collector some
years back and I snaffled a couple. Forget who it was, and don't know
where you'd look at this point. They were a fairly standard item in mil
electronics and possibly they might be found at someplace like Murphys
in San Diego or Electronic Dimensions in Tacoma.

Before I got these, however, I used a test tube "handler" that is like a
specialized pair of pliers with thin arms, a long reach and cup shaped
pieces on the end to cradle the glass tube. These were lined with rubber
coat to prevent breakage. I think they were intended to remove hot test
tubes from tight places, and that didn't have an upper bell shaped end,
so u had to grab them longitudinally. Slipped it around the tube,
applied some closing pressure and pulled gently. You might find
something like this if you know anyone who has access to a chem lab. I
got mine when a university lab was being cleared out for renovations.
