Thanks, Dennis.
What you list as a "contract code" looks like Stewart Warner's CAGE code.
Funny thing is, 20284 is Target Corp's CAGE code. So who actually
made the thing, I wonder, and who is just the distributor?
6854 is not a valid CAGE code, but your other 401399-0701's are
made by 06845 aka Raytheon. I wonder if 6854 is just a date code.
Is it clearly supposed to be the manufacturer?
I looked at some schematics, and the A2 board (multiplier/divider) in
the R-1051H manual (EE125-AF-OMI-010/E110-R1051H) is virtually identical
to the one in NAVELEX 0967-LP-970-9010, which documents late R-1051 plain.
(The only differences I found are the switch from discrete phase comparator
and lamp to LED and off-board digital, and transistor P/N changes.)
Sounds like they got a winner and stuck with it.
I'm working on a writeup about retrofitting a cheap abundant NTC thermistor.
I'm already running with one, but due to a silly assembly mistake I'm going
to have to rip it out and start over, might as well wait until it's done.
