[R-1051] 5 mhz standard

Jerry,
Be sure the internal temperature of the module is near 85 degree C. I had to drill a small hole and use a lab thermometer. There are 4 resistors that make up a temperature sensing bridge. One resistor is embedded in the oven chassis and there is an adjustment for temperature. There is a 17 volt voltage regulator that drives the heating element. (not 27 volt as stated in the schematic). The oven circuit is troublesome. It has been my experience that if internal temperature is not near 85C, the frequency will not go to 5 mhz using the coarse or fine frequency adjustments.

Subject: [R-1051] 5 mhz standard
Gentlemen:
I just found this
web page today. I acquired an R1051B
recently and found
the 5mhz standard is not adustable..It is
170hz off
frequency.
I would like to get
it to where it is supposed to be.
Having no idea how
to fix it and no schematics as of yet,
does anyone have
advice?
Jerry
