Lee,

I think I saw a T-827 transmitter on the Fair Radio website last night, but
it wasn't cheap and the shipping to you would probably cost a fortune.  You
might have a look anyway, just for entertainment.

They are scarce because they are on the de-mil list and are not being
released surplus, just as the R-1051's only seem to show up in surplus by
accident or mixed with scrap.
