[R-1051] H-model 100 KHz plastic belt/chain

Hi Mike,

I don't have anything in spares for those at this time. I did send
the last set of metal chains from a Plain through about the D model to a
customer earlier in the year to replace his G or H model plastic chains that
had broken. My suggestion is to contact Fair Radio Sales. They had a pile
of 1051 chassis with no working modules to go in them...so they should have
plenty of spare metal chains. It shouldn't be too hard to change them.

Don't know why they went to the plastic chains. I am certain that decision
shortened the service life of the 1051 in military service...it's a shame
too because the G and H model radio's had evolved to be very nice radio's!
Of course maybe in military service they weren't tuned around a lot from the
front panel...just put on one frequency and parked there!

Cecil...
