Hi Cecil,
I've been meaning to ask you for many months -- is it possible to
trick an R-1051, or T-827, into working on 160 meters? I'd think that the
RF tuning could be tweaked or might not need to be, for 1980 - 1999, but
is there an easy way to trick the tuning interlock? I've looked at the
skem a bit, but not sure.
Have you & Les finished that stack of 390's? Did you get any takers
for all the 1051 stuff?
And one more, what would you charge to get one of my 6-packs going?
I've got 3 that aren't right, I think 2 do work on some posns. I"ve only
got one that's good, for 1 R-1051 & 2 T-827's, and have 2 spares.
73,
