[R-1051] New to the list with two R-1051B's and a T-827D/URT

John,

There was an article, some time ago, in Electric Radio, on that
transmitter/exciter. My notes from earlier research on the AN/WRC-1
system(s) say that it has 100 mW output, designed to feed the AM-3007 for
100W PEP out. There is also an AM-3924 with 1,000 watt PEP out.

But there are others on here that have direct experience.

Craig

Mike,

Yes the T-827/URT is in a matching case. I don't know much about it at
all, other than, while it is called a transmitter, it may in fact be a low
level exciter. Perhaps that could be my first question to the list. Can
anyone fill us in here. I was going to ask after I did some research on my
own but since Mike asked let's throw it out there.

Hi, John. Welcome.

What's the T-827? Is that the transmitter that matches the R-1051?
