Wellcome Carl and many thanks for the excellent piece of information
regarding the belts. I already placed the site in my favorites for future
reference.

Best!

Hello from a new member. The name is Carl from south Louisiana and I sure am
glad to know there are some experts out there on the 1051. I have a G
model, maybe one of the last Fair Radio had. I'm not an expert repairman
just a novice. I just replaced the drive belts. I found a supplier for the
Posi-Drive Belt on the internet. I know everyone says these belts suck BUT
mine lasted 30 years and if the new ones last as long I'll be in Shady Pines
and won't know the difference ;-) They run about 16 to 17 dollars a piece
and if anyone is interested I'll include the exact part numbers.
Got them from www.sdp-si.com. Look up Posi-drive belt and here's the
numbers: CPSST160, CPSST140, CPSST210. They also have chain drive belts but
at 73 to 75 bucks each was to rich for me.
Regards
Carl
