[R-1051] Vernier pot

Hi Steve,
I have had several of those pot's damaged in shipment from a lick on
the front. It usually pops the back cover off of the pot. It is hard to
get back on properly. I have also had several that the stop didn't stop any
more. Something breaks in the pot. Most continue to work ok but just go
round and round.
You might be sure that the back cover is not partially pushed back. It's
not actually the back cover it is the entire housing that is one piece and
it snaps over a front cover that has the shaft going through it. As I
remember it the back housing actually has a stop pin pressed into it and
when the cover gets pushed back the pin won't reach and the shaft will go
round and not stop. Intermittent operation is also noted.
I have had to replace several....they are not easy to come by. I may have
one or two left if needed!
