Do you think the gov't still has any to smash?  Sense I got is that they
sold off most some years back, retaining only a few.  But I have no specific
inside info.  Ostensibly, the R-1051's were replaced by other rx's some time
ago.  However, they were probably the last rx with tube front ends and some
EMF protection, though there are probably other ways to protect the front
ends of SS equipment with gas discharge tubes, etc.  I think they're too
busy smashing the radios that replaced them, like the 2050's.
