[QSL-Managers] R-390 List - Mass Unsubscribe Event

Hi,

 

I took over as the list administrator for the R-390 list after Don Reaves
passed away.  I had been helping Don as a moderator and Asst Admin for
several years.  It's a fairly quiet list without many restrictions.  This
morning within 2-3 minutes around 9:20a ET, I received 180+ notifications of
unsubscribe notifications.  I didn't go through each one individually but
did a pretty thorough spot check and each was a unique email address.   Does
mailman.qth lists have an automatic end of the year unsubscribe option for
inactivity?  I know if there are multiple repeat bounces within a month an
automatic unsubscribe can occur.  Also, I am surprised I received these
notifications because under general settings:  "Should administrator get
notices of subscribes and unsubscribes?" I have checked NO.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.
