Logbooks of the world will probably lessen the demand for QSL cards, but I bet a significant number of people will still want to collect them.  If anything, more will use the buro because of rising postage rates and less need/value for the paper kind.  As for the car, at Christmas I used my qsl manager savings account for a new Thunderbird.  Nice red one, 1957 model. And I do mean model...3 inches big.  That cleaned it out.
