I don't know the details of the unit, but remember them.  No matter what
it's claims, it wouldn't put out more than 5W PEP, the legal limit at the
time, probably designed for the 1-2W CBs at the time.  It might be easier to
pick up the occasional unit that sells on ebay for about $5 or newer 30dB
pre-amps that sell at CB shops for about $20.
