>>>Very nice bio you just sent out on qrp list.
I highly encourage you in your efforts. Please check out the major
worldwide
club - www.qrparci.org We have a really nice magazine each quarter, lots of
"friendly" contests, and more.
We'd love to have you look at the Forum called qrp-f. The link is on the
left
side of the web site.
Hope to work you soon. I'm sorry you have to call cq so long at qrp level.
Actually it takes quite a few at any power level at certain times and bands.
I
find that I do better answering cq's and get almost all I call.
all the best,
Jim/W4QO<<<
Thanks Jim and no need for apologies. Even here at the bottom of the
sunspot cycle I normally call "CQ" no more than three or four times before I
get a response. Especially during daylight hours on 40 meters. It's
usually after dark that I have my problems. Once that sun sinks, things
start to get difficult. I think they would still be difficult even at a
Kilowatt. It's all about conditions and here we are at our 11 year lull.
Kudos to the hams that hang in there and continue to operate. ESPECIALLY at
QRP levels!!!!
Thanks for the web info. I'll check it out.
