[QRP] 30m Transmitter Project

I am told that CQ Magazine for October will feature an up to 
date version of the classic wooden base 6L6 VXO transmitter by 
Dave Ingram. Dave says that it will have a built-in power supply. 
This rig has some neat up-to-date features like VXO operation,
including transceive operation with an inexpensive portable 
receiver, where the VXO will also act as a BFO.

Dave is also writing some more homebrew tube rig articles for 
Radio Communications ("Rad-Comm") the magazine of the RSGB
in Britain.

Upcoming articles will include the "Hamfest Buddy" and several 
other neat rigs, perhaps including a 60m CW rig for Europe.
Since the U.S. as been restricted from using CW on that band,
we will miss out on that one.

He has several more neat tube homebrew articles coming up for this winter.
