[QRO] An interesting anchor

I ran across this recently and I plan to put it on the air.
At first glance, it appears to be a simple old TU5B tuning unit as
used in the BC-191 Transmitters of WW2.

However, once I looked inside I found two 4 pin sockets
intended for a pair of 811As, and some nice RFCs, tank
coil, coupling caps and the like.

It's a band-switching linear amplifier!

On the rear I see that it is set up for grounded grid use,
with there being anice filament choke cleverly mounted inside
a shielded channel.

Listen for this baby on the air in a few months!
