[QCWA Hotlist] QCWA Chapter 119 March Meeting -- Friday March 18 2016

Good morning all.  QCWA Chapter 119 will hold its March meeting on 
Friday, 18 March 2016 at 12:00 noon at our regular meeting place, 
Frankie's Place for Ribs, 5200 Fairfield Shopping Center, (corner of 
Kempsville and Providence Roads), Kempsville, beautiful downtown 
Virginia Beach.

Vice-President Al Rhodes, KD4TDG, has arranged what should be a most 
interesting program for us to be presented by Curtis Morris, Jr., K7KNM, 
titled " Wind, Waves, and Radio...Sailing Marine Mobile."  Curt is an 
accomplished sailor having taken his ~130 foot sailing vessel far afield 
-- I'm not sure what the proper nautical term would be.  Curt is also an 
accomplished Amateur Radio operator and the marriage of these two very 
special avocations makes for some truly interesting stories.

But you need to be in attendance to hear all about it.  If you are 
visiting in our area, or would like to drive in for a fun-filled day of 
sun and sea, then please consider this a personal invitation to join us 
for QCWA fellowship and a great program.  As usual, spouses are always 
welcome at QCWA events.  If you have a friend or friends whom you wish 
to impress with the quality of your associates they, too, are most 
welcome.  Reservations are not necessary but we would like to have a 
nice turnout for this program.
