[QCWA Hotlist] QCWA Chapter 119 October Meeting -- 17 October 2015

Hi all.  Chapter 119 will hold its October meeting as one of our two 
special meetings per year in Newport News, Virginia.  This meeting will 
be on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at:  Andrea’s Italian 
Restaurant & Pizzeria, 1730 George Washington Memorial Highway (Route

The restaurant is located on Route 17 approximately 1.2 miles north 
(towards Yorktown) from the Interstate 64 intersection with Route 17.  
This is a new location for our 'remote' meetings and the food has been 
sampled a number of times by different Chapter 119 members.  The 
facility passes all tests with flying colors and a varied menu is sure 
to please.

If you're not in the immediate Virginia Beach area where we hold our 
regular meetings perhaps you could venture out to meet with us on 
Saturday in Newport News.  The Saturday meeting is itself a departure 
from our regular meeting schedule because we attempt to make it easier 
not only for members and friends who live at some distance, but also to 
permit those with weekday jobs and commitments an opportunity to meet 
with us on a Saturday.  Harvey, KA4SSH, ably assisted by Wally, K4OGT 
and Dick, W4RBH coordinate great meetings and always have an interesting 
program for our enjoyment.

If you might be traveling in our area, or if you live further up 'the 
peninsula' please try to take advantage of this special meeting on the 
North side of the Hampton Roads bridge/tunnel. Members and friends are 
welcome and spouses are especially welcome at any of our 
meetings/functions.  Come out and enjoy some really terrific QCWA
