QCWA Bulletin 2015-008 - Pamela LaPeter, KD4HTB - Silent Key

It is with sadness we report the unexpected passing of Pamela Sue 
LaPeter, KD4HTB, wife of QCWA member Al LaPeter, W2AS, of Winter 
Park, FL, on May 15, 2015, at the age of 67.

Pam was born in Pontiac, MI on March 21, 1948, and grew up in 
Michigan. She loved roller skating, knitting, crocheting, water 
skiing, amateur radio and ballroom dancing, and was an OB/GYN nurse 
at ORMC for more than 20 years.

Pam was very active and supportive of many amateur radio events, and 
was always at her husband's side whenever it came to assisting in and 
organizing the Orlando Amateur Radio Club's 'HamCation', as well as 
regular Chapter 45 meetings and other amateur radio events.
