I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of you.

Why?  Because you have done a good job on getting accurate e-mail 
addresses.

Please let me explain.  Whenever we return from hamfests, chapter 
meetings, etc., we check the sign in lists for changes in members 
e-mail addresses.  As you know, it is very important that we have 
good, accurate e-mail addresses for our members.

Historically, we find that about 1/3 of the e-mail addresses are 
either new ones for us, or are changes.  I just finished checking 
about 300 e-mail address from Dayton Hamvention and from the chapter 
meetings we attended after Dayton.  I would have expected about 100 
updates.

The good news is that did not happen.  I only had 11 changes -- 
roughly 1/10 of what was expected.  Why?  Because our chapter officers 
have been doing a good job of getting changes in to headquarters.  Of 
course some of the members have done it themselves, as well.

So I would like to congratulate you for a good job, but at the same 
time ask for your continued help to keep all of these e-mail addresses 
up to date.

BTW, the June issue of the eJournal will be out very shortly.  Don't 
forget to get your reports in to journal at qcwa.org for the July issue. 
They are due now.
