Hello:
First, I want to wish everybody a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
I also want to thank all of the busy people in QCWA who have contributed
to the new Web site which has come a long way.
There are two really great features that I enjoy.
1) I download the audio journal on MP3 for a blind friend of mine who is
absolutely thrilled to hear each journal as they get posted.
He looks forward to every CD that I bring over to him each month. This
addition to our web site has made a big impact on his life. Well done QCWA.
2) The sortable file for our Chapter 70 members has made it very easy
for us to keep track of things including the handling of the pins and
certificates. I remember very well when our previous chapter executive
had to do this manually which can be quite tedious when a chapter has 80
members or so.
There are also a number of other informative items on the web site so
please check in often. It is also interesting to look at Chapter web
sites to see what is going on.
Why not contact one of the Chapters just for fun to see what they are
doing. I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised. Remember, the vast
knowledge base in the QCWA covers just about every aspect of modern
radio systems not mention the history of communications. (Spark gap to
Software Defined Radio and more).
