[QCWA Hotlist] Officers checking in

I have been a member of QCWA for a very long time and have NEVER checked 
into the QCWA net.  WHY should the officers of QCWA worry about checking 
into the net?  I probably could not hear it from Hawaii anyway, BUT, what 
value is provided by checking into a QCWA net?

I've been a ham for over 60 years and don't recall anyone ever pointing out 
the value in a QCWA net.  Never discussed on a QCWA cruise.  Don't recall 
any discussion of the topic at all.
