[QCWA Hotlist] Reminders

Several reminders:

First, if you have not already sent in your chapter report that will 
go into the February eJournal, please do so ASAP.  E-mail the report 
to Editor at qcwa.org with a copy to ExecAdmin at qcwa.org.  It is best to 
separate text from pictures, and send each as a separate attachment, 
in one e-mail.

Second, if you have not sent in your annual report, please do it soon. 
  You can do this by going to your member web page.  Find the "Chapter 
section" which is outlined in a yellow/amber color.  Beneath the list 
of officers is a box to click to submit your report.

While you are at the chapter section, please scroll down to the list 
of your members.  Please pay special attention to the column at the 
very right.  It says yes or no, which means we either do, or do not, 
have an e-mail address for that member.  If you find a red "no", 
please try to obtain an e-mail address for that member, and either 
have him send it to us, or send it yourself.  Send to ExecAdmin at qcwa.org.

Other information to pass on to you --
We have now ended 2012.  You might be wondering how the QCWA financial 
situation looks.  It is much better than we anticipated, largely due 
to major efforts from a lot of people.  We expected that we might need 
to take $7K to $8K from the contingency fund in December in order to 
have enough cash flow to pay all of our 2012 bills.  I am happy to 
report that is not the case.  It is much better than that!  About 
Christmas time, it looked like we would not need to take anything from 
the contingency fund, and looked like we might have about $1K left in 
the checking accounts.  I am pleased to report that even that was 
wrong.  We actually ended 2012 with about $2K in the checking 
accounts.  To put it another way, we are turning the QCWA financial 
ship around.  It is already turned around.  Now it just needs to pick 
up steam.

By this time, most of you should have received the paper Jorunal.  If 
you have not, you should soon.  Delivery time seems to vary 
considerably, largely depending on the local postal delivery 
situation.  If you have not received yours in another week or so, 
please let me know.
