[QCWA Hotlist] Straw Poll on Associate Member Issue

The Barry M. Goldwater Arizona Chapter 16 covers the entire  state of 
Arizona.  We conduct meetings in three areas, Prescott, Phoenix  and Tucson in 
order to give all of our members an opportunity to attend a  meeting in close 
proximity to them.  In an effort to secure the largest  possible response 
from our diversely located membership we solicited a response  to the 
"Associate Member" issue in our Winter News Letter, which also included a  brief 
description about the issue.  No responses were  received. 
 
At our December 10, 2011 meeting of Chapter 16 in  Phoenix we took a straw 
poll of the voting members on the "Associate  Member" issue.  The voting 
members stated that their vote was not whether  we should have "Associate 
Members" or not, but rather whether QCWA National  should revisit the concept of 
having "Associate Members" and in doing so  determine the detailed criteria 
associated with the addition of this new member  class..
 
The results were as Follows:

No          9    do  not  revisit concept of having Associate Members
