Good Morning,

The QCWA "Annual Report" package will be arriving in your mail box with in the next 30 days or so.

This is one of 2 times a year you can find out who is current with their national dues (eligible to be a chapter member) and who is not.  The other is when the membership directory is posted on the website in July.

A few words about the email ids asked for on the report itself.   The only thing they are used for is so the President and Secretary can be included on this reflector.  If either of you do not want to be on this reflector, don't include an email id.  I do however encourage you to be a part of this group.  Also, please use a real email id and not an alias like callsign at arrl.net or callsign at rac.ca.  If you use an alias you will receive the messages but you will not be able to respond to them as you will not be subscribed as johnDoe at aol.com  

The membership list that's part of the package may not include all the members of your chapter.  There is only room in the HQ database for one chapter, we call it the home chapter.  The home chapter (usually the secretary) takes care of requesting whatever awards the member may be eligible for. This list also shows what awards have been issued and when they were issued. 

I belong to Chapters 8, 35, 120, 151 and 180.  Chapter 8 is my home and I am only listed with them.  For the members that are not on your list you can go to http://www.qcwa.org/member-dir.htm and see if they have a chapter listed.  If they don't, send Chuck an email at HQ asking they be listed as a member of your chapter.  If they have a different chapter listed you can ask them which chapter they want to use as their home chapter.  If you have members listed that are no longer members of your chapter ( moved, became an SK, quit paying the local dues) you can request they no longer be listed with your chapter.  A single email which has a list of new chapter members and a list of non members is sufficient.

Please return the single page "Annual Report" form, it's the only way HQ knows your chapter is still active.
