[QCWA Hotlist] Nomination Committee Request for Assistance

Dear QCWA Members:

This email comes to QCWA members as a followup to my earlier email 
"Nomination Committee Request for Assistance" wherein your QCWA 
Nomination Committee was seeking individuals who were willing to step 
forward as nominees in the forthcoming 2012 election necessary to 
elect people to serve as Executive and directors for the following two years.

Your Nomination Committee was pleased to receive several names from 
QCWA volunteers willing to be nominated however we would like to see 
more individuals willing to serve in this important volunteer 
capacity with QCWA.

There is no need for me to repeat my earlier email seeking 
volunteers;  I'm sure my comments in that email reflect the comments 
made to the membership by earlier Nomination committees.

I would like to refer all of you to the World Radio Online May 2011 
issue, specifically to the excellent article entitled "What Qualities 
Make a Good Volunteer", written by QCWA member Dave Hayes 
VE3JX.  Just scroll through that issue to Pages 44 through 46.  I 
bring this article to your attention as, sometimes, we need a small 
nudge to remind us of the need to periodically step up to the plate 
as volunteers.  You can imagine where our wonderful QCWA organization 
would be without the individuals who have volunteered to serve and 
help make QCWA what it has been and will continue to be in the years to come.

Your QCWA Nomination Committee looks forward to more nominations 
coming to us.  As before, nominations for all positions may be 
forwarded to any of the Nomination Committee members listed below:
