Good Afternoon:

The Floyd "Lucky" Henderson Chapter #177 in Riverside, CA has 20 Members. 
Of those 20, 16 have email addresses giving us a digital percentage of 80%.

The four without email addresses are 91, 93, 99 and 101 years of age.  All 
of them have eyesight issues and did at one time have email addresses.  When 
it became difficult for them to read the computer screen, they did away with 
their computers.  I should point out that they all are still active on our 
Chapter #177 Net and two of the four still enjoy and use CW.

This is mostly for the chapter Secretaries.

I was exchanging email ids with a member in Virginia and the comment was 
made:  >We KNOW that MOST members don't DO DIGITAL'
I'm wondering about the veracity of that statement.

At Chapter 8, only have 18.6% (8 of 43) that don't have email. Those ages 
are 65, 69, 72, 78, 84, 84, 93 and one that will be 100 this year. Ben, 
W0DKL our soon to be 100 year old has a computer but can't use it because of 
failing sight. Our oldest email user is John, W0JBX, born 1919 and we have 4 
of 6 born 1920 - 1929 that have email ids.

As you have time, please post the percentage of members in your chapter that 
have email ids.  While not very scientific, it should give an idea of how 
Digital our membership may or may not be.
