I would like to provide QCWA some newsworthy information regarding an old 
friend, Rod Newkirk, W9BRD.  Rod was QST Editor of the DX column for about 
30 years.
.  Rod suffered a stroke about two months ago and is still hospitalized. 
Some of your staff staff may know Rod.  In an effort to get the info to his 
many friends around the world I'm trying to notify ARRL, CQ, and QCWA.   Any 
mail should be forwarded to him at 471 Melbourne Ave. Ottowa ON,  K2A1W4. 
He is a Lifetime QCWA member.
