QCWA Chapter 119 has an updated web page (http://www.qcwa-ch119.org) and 
some nifty new stuff included.

We are also releasing info about the upcoming (THIS WEEK) IOTA 
EXPEDITION sponsored by QCWA Chapter 119.  Read on:

Vic, W4VIC, provides the following updated information relevant to the 
QCWA Chapter 119 sponsored IOTA Expedition to Tangier Island (NA-083) 
beginning July 23, 2009 and ending July 26, 2009.  The expedition call 
sign is W4T.  Team members include:  Steve Batton, W4XQ;  Butch Burke, 
KE4AZL;  Vic Culver, W4VIC;  Joe Deschaine, KI4RKB;  Talley George, 
W4TVG;  Terry Hunsicker, KI4RXC; Barry Priddy, K5VIP;  and Quint Webb, 
K4CQW.  Support staff include Pilot Station Ron Young, W8RJL, and 
digital advisor Stu Spatz, K4MIL.

The logistics team members for the expedition will depart Cobb’s Marina 
aboard the sailboat DO-U-WUNA, Captain Terry (KI4RXC) navigating, on 
Wednesday afternoon and the remainder of the operators from Onancock, VA 
on Thursday morning July 23 via the Tangier pedestrian ferry .   At 
least one station should be operating by early afternoon on Thursday. 
Antennas for the duration will include a tri-band yagi, all band 
vertical antenna, and a Carolina Windom wire antenna.  Operating 
frequencies will center on the traditional IOTA operating frequencies:

CW:  28040,  24920,  21040,  18098,  14040,  10114,  7030, and 3530

SSB:  28560,  28460,  24950,  21260,  18128,  14260,  7180, and 3765

Look for the W4T expedition near these RTTY frequencies:

RTTY  28.085,  24.920,  21.085,  18.105,  14.085,  10.125,  7.085,  and 
3.585

W4T will operate during the IOTA Contest on July 25/26 in the 
Multi-operator Island DXpedition category .   During the IOTA contest 
there will be NO SSB or CW operation on WARC bands.  While the RTTY 
station will operate throughout the expedition it will NOT be operated 
as a contest station during the contest period.

QSL direct (SASE/IRC Please) via K5VIP for a special expedition card 
which will be printed after the expedition.  Logs will be uploaded to 
LoTW at the end of the expedition .  Your patience is appreciated while 
waiting for cards.  QSL requests without SAE/IRC will be returned via 
bureau.
