Hi Larry, It is my opinion that Chapter 45 is self sufficient on the subject
of DVD or VHS. I am sure there is something, somewhere that might be of
interest to us but I can't elaborate at this time.. About a year ago we
bought the following out of Chapter funds:
20" Emerson LCD Stereo TV, Model EWL 2055
Magnavox DVD Player-4 head VCR, Model MWD 2205
with connecting cables.
In addition to that we have a number of our own tapes/VCR discs for our use
and know where we can get more if needed. .I would like to go on record as
saying that Chapter 45 will cooperate in any way possible to assist; I may
have to go to the membership for their approval of any major issue
involviing us but I will try if the occasion arises. By the way, one of the
best tools we have is when one of our National officers or Board members
visits at a Chapter meeting; they are usually invited to talk about QCWA and
in some cases even put on a program for us--this shows a definite concern of
Headquarters and an interest in Chapter activities. 73, AL, W2AS,
President, Chapter 45.
