Greetings From Wild Rose Chapter 151!
This is to announce that QCWA Wild Rose Chapter 151 has procured the
special call sign VE6QCWA for use from September 1 - September 30, 2006 to
celebrate the upcoming QCWA International Convention - 2006 hosted by
Chapter 151 in Calgary, AB. Conventions dates are September 28 - September
30, 2006. A special QSL card will be designed for the event. All stations
working VE6QCWA and wanting a card should QSL Ken Oelke - VE6AFO via
QRZ.Com address. A SASE would be greatly appreciated!

It is also our hope to have the special event station on the air using a
remote base system from the convention hotel.
Maybe Bob Roske could put an announcement on the QCWA web site? (Thanks!)
