As much as I'd love to, antenna at 50' on the Rohn is serving all my antenna needsI have documentation. The antenna load for this tower is 400lbs! Not including the mast and rotor! That is heavy duty. Make me an offer... This is a very Heavy Well Constructed Galvanized Tubular Tower weighing in at 1100 pounds. Entire tower consists of the the Tower, all parts and all engineering drawings that came with tower originally. It has the Side Ladder that leads up to the Crows Nest. Tubular Tower is 3 sections. It nests at 23 feet. I am sure there will be some work necessary in some areas. Motor turns freely by hand, but I am unable to run power to the storage area. The basic tower is quite sound. All Mechanical parts of tower look very good. Heavily Galvanized. All parts are included except for the base plate and cage. The Cable had been replaced with Stainless but that is certainly worth checking. Motor turns freely but has not had power to it in some time. Aside from the attached outside control box there is a Remote Control Indoor Unit to handle the Tower raising and lowering. A control box with power cable to bring indoors is also included. It is currently set up with gearing for a side mounted chain driven HDR-300 to turn the mast. The rebuilt HDR-300 is included. This was a top of the line Tower when constructed and it's design is still sold today. Tashjian was the designer of this tower and has the info on the mechanics. He still makes the larger one on a special order basis Those who are familiar with the name "Sky Needle" already are aware of the quality Tower is currently horizontal, on Cement blocks and Covered. I am located in Fort Lauderdale Fl. I will entertain any offer. Pickup and Delivery is needed. As is where is. Tower will need to be moved onto a dolly and rolled to front driveway(the same way it came in). And then loaded onto your delivery method of choice. All Manuals, Engineering Information, Diagrams and Plans are Included. Bouvet Island *JUNE 13, 2021 * We regret to inform you of the following news. The global pandemic has impacted the expedition charter vessel business very hard; this includes the venerable RV Braveheart which has provided outstanding safety and service to many DXpeditions. As you know, we had signed a contract with Braveheart for 3Y0J. Today, we were informed that Braveheart will be sold. As a result, Nigel Jolly will no longer be associated with the ship, our contract with the ship has been cancelled and our deposit will be refunded. This is a very disappointing development to all involved. At this time, we are cancelling the 3Y0J Dxpedition. We have ceased accepting donations and we will begin refunding 100% of the donations using the same method they were received, i.e., PayPal, cash or check. This process will take several weeks to sort out, so please be patient. We wish to thank our team for putting their trust in us. We wish to thank all of the donors and sponsors that gave generously to this project. We will continue to research other ships and possibly find another suitable vessel for a future project. 73, Paul Ewing, N6PSE Kenneth Opskar LA7GIA -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Below is the Download location(sourgeforce) and there are simple description notes on that page regarding them he has written. Uwe DG2YCB has been hospitalized and I wish him well but he kindly responded to some questions I asked. His descriptions on the site included the caveats. I've had no issues. If you have a Virus Protection it probably will trigger it. I ignored it and all is working fine with no monsters in my machine. In an email to me he said to load the different versions in separate directories. So you can compare if you like.
