[QCWA Everglades Chapter #69] Getting ARRL/IARU WAC Awards using LoTW Confirmations

Here's still more wall paper: Worked all Continents (WAC) can be earned using 
just LoTW confirmations.
Normally according to ARRL/IARU WAC application form, you can not use LoTW 
contacts to directly apply them to Worked All Continents. The application form 
specifically notes:

"Special Note: Contacts in LoTW are currently not eligible for WAC credit."
However the application form provides us with a sneaky path;  also noted on the 
form:
"You must list the callsigns of the QSOs from your DXCC (not LoTW) account that 
you want to claim."

I used this "sneaky" path to get WAC-2m-EME, and 5-band WAC awards using just 
LoTW confirmations. Since the WAC Award rules let you use confirmations from 
your DXCC account, you can:
(1) First pay the fee to apply your needed LoTW confirmations to your DXCC 
account, then,
(2) Apply for WAC award using those needed QSOs that are now in your DXCC account.
That's what I did, and never had to submit a paper QSL card!
(3) On the WAC application, check the box "Cards listed below can be found in my 
DXCC account."
(4) Pay all the application fees, mail the application form in, sit back, and 
await your very attractive certificate(s)!
