QCWA Cruise Newsletter #9 - Update On Logging
Radio Room Coming Together - On Deck 14
We have two very thoughtful cruisers who are putting in every effort in trying to make sure they will have a successful set up with radios and antennas for all of us to enjoy.
They are Terry Johner, W4YBV and Eugene Skopal, AE2F. Terry and his wife Cynthia are from Roswell, GA and Eugene and his wife Cynthia, KC2PTO are from Ossining, NY. They both are working hard in the planning and bringing a lot of gear and antennas to make two workable stations.
As I previously mentioned, those wishing to operate the radio will be using their own call signs. i.e. PA/VE6AFO. In this regard, if you plan to operate please bring you own computer with logging program, or log sheets to maintain your personal logging.
I am sure there will be some QSLing taking place after the cruise is over. You may wish to make a special QSL card with a photo of the Konginsdam on the front side, along with your call sign (i.e PA/VE6AFO) embedded within the photo.
Thanks!

Ken Oelke, VE6AFO
