  My name is Ciara Bostick, the Volunteer Coordinator for the Museum of
Discovery and Science. The Museum of Discovery and Science is looking for
volunteer community members to help celebrate science in our community. We
have a new program, Science Ambassadors, which allows individuals with a
science related background to use their skills to demonstrate their
knowledge publicly through presentations and demonstrations here at the
museum. This program, designated for those 55+, retired, coming upon
retirement, and/or Baby Boomers, gives these individuals a resource for
reengaging back into the community by doing something that they love.



  Help us translate scientific wonders into something people can touch and
experience by sharing your expertise and passion for science. We invite you
to do presentations or demonstrations for Museum guests in our new Keller
Science Theater scheduled to open November 2011.



  If you are interested in being a participant of this program, please do
not hesitate to contact me. We look forward to having you join our team of
community scientists as a Science Ambassador.
