[QCWA] First post and a question

Hi folks de w2qcy,

This is my first post and of course I have a question already hi.
I am John Farina, member number 27848 from Albany NY.

I am hoping to participate in the 75 contest celebrating our 75th
aniversary. My question is whether to confirm a station's number to ensure
I copied it correctly following a contact, I can look it up via the web
site? While looking at the site the other night I was not able to figure
out a method for doing this.
Thanks and hope to catch some of you during the contest. Usually I am a cw
