I might suggest that Rainer once had a call sign,
but he let it lapse. Hence we are unable to find
today. One would have to go through old call
books, BUT, call books are listed in alpha order
by call sign, not last name. I did some research
on the Internet and did find mention that he
played with Ham radio, but no call sign
mentioned. Is there a way for you to contact him and ask?

I searched the QCWA database for Rainer Weiss. He
was never a member, so no luck there.
