[QCWA] "Why Amateur Radio?"

I am working to put together a package to present to a local high school's
principal and key teachers about their supporting an after hours class on
achieving at least a Technician level license (as a start). I've asked a
local club (well fairly local) if they would be willing to assist by
providing QUALIFIED trainers and mentors. Have not heard back yet but I'm
sure I'll get a positive response. This area is relatively isolated. The HS
does offer a CERT class but has no reference to the role amateur radio can
play.
One of the items I've been looking for is a video presentation oriented to
students that explains amateur radio, its benefits and uses and does it in a
manner that is appealing to high school age students.
If this pans out I have equipment etc, that I'd be willing to donate toward
the formation of a high school club station.
The video noted in this thread is OK, but I thought maybe someone out there
knows of a better one. If so, please contact me with the information.
Thanks,
Don W7WLL
