1966

Receiver was a Hallicrafters SWX-43 (not the better 42) with a Heath Q 
multiplier

1st transmitter was a homebrew 6AQ5 on 7167 kc/s only. 2nd was a 6AG7 to 
a 6DQ6. Big power.
Built a homebrew keyer using two 12AU7s and a hacksaw blade for a key.
All at the age of 13.

And two weeks ago I passed my amateur radio 50th anniversary.
